Fairytale Ending: Happily Ever After the Apocalypse is an ongoing narrative passion project I’ve been developing for years. It combines several of my favorite storytelling elements and genres. This is a long-term storyline that could be adapted in a number of ways.
Once Upon a time…

In a world of castles, dragons, and magic, a mysterious cosmic energy was discovered and harnessed by wizards. this new element would progress tech by centuries. Robots, megacities, and even space travel become reality…
so do weapons of mass destruction.
According to myth, anyone who can possess these powers within themselves can become a “singularity,” a being capable of near-infinite creation, or total destruction. Although many consider the myth nothing more than an outdated prophecy, this hasn’t stopped kingdoms from trying to prove their superiority…
333 years later, Amidst the chaos of a post-apocalyptic, sci-if-dark fantasy wasteland, a young dragonborn named Liv embarks on a journey to find answers to her clouded past… She will make new friends, battle through the wastes, get sidetracked, and face various threats along the way. Liv’s desprate quest will take her and her friends to new corners of the world where they will encounter a tumultuous array of folks, beasts, and factions. She must be cautious, however, as she possesses a highly sought-after blessing and curse she cannot control… a power changing her… slowly killing her… and she may never find the answers she seeks alone.

The working title for my work is Fairytale Ending: Happily Ever After the Apocalypse. It’s all I have so far. Most details of the story are not set in stone yet and may not be for a few more drafts, since this work is meant to be long and high-concept, requiring much worldbuilding. Everything is very much subject to change, or to be moved around like a giant chess board.
